Anti hero skateboards’ ugly logos
Anti-Hero Skateboards is a company started by Julien Stranger in the mid 90′s. The company is represented by Deluxe Distribution. The compony’s professional team of skateboarders includes a few famous people, such as Jeff Grosso, John Cardiel, Tony Trujillo, Andrew Allen, Peter Hewitt, and others. The most normal symbol of the brand is the eagle, while the other skateboards designs deserve a particular attention.
But let us talk about the decks first, since for every skateboarder the quality of the deck is on the first place. Being a rider myself, I will do a review of my anti-hero skateboards’ deck, which I bought about 3 months ago. I have to admit, it’s one of the most durable skateboards I have used! Here’s why.
First, the deck has a great pop. The wood is so responsive. I do have other deck to compare with, so I would say that Anti-hero skateboard’s pop is much better than Habitat’s. I also like the shape of this skateboard: a blunt tail and a pointy nose. The deck has a steep concave, which is also good. The shape works well for me, so I can do the tricks easily. Next, the deck is fairly cheap. I spent only 45$ for it. And finally, the durability! This skateboard is strong! I have been using it for three months already and no major scratches or cracks yet, just the minor damages, nothing really noticeable!
Overall, I would definitely recommend the skateboard to a friend for its quality, good shape, and the major advantage – durability! But I really suggest the company to change their brutal designs and become simpler and more people-friendly.
